Jules is a marketing, communications, branding, and design professional, with experience ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies across a broad range of regulated and non-regulated industries in the US, Europe, and China. She has been recognized for creating numerous award-winning marketing/advertising/public relations campaigns throughout her career, and a featured guest speaker on trends, issues and solutions critical to building viable, sustainable businesses and brands.
Jules is a sixth-generation Californian and life-long resident of the Bay Area, with San Francisco serving as home base for the past 16 years. She was introduced to primitive camping, outdoor campfire cooking, hiking, fishing, and “star parties” at higher elevations from earliest childhood, and enjoys “unplugging” in the mountains of Northern California. She is a cellist, cook, amateur mixologist, and gardener, and endeavours to walk at least five miles a day wherever she is.
An alumni of the University of the Pacific, Jules continued her education with graduate studies in semiotics/communications psychology at the University of California, Berkeley.
